UNL System
From UNL Wiki
The UNL System is the set of UNL modules and the rules to combine them.
Modules
The modules of the UNL System are the following:
- the lingware, i.e., the set of lexical databases (dictionaries, knowledge bases and example bases) and grammars that are used to process the UNL and each natural language
- the software, i.e., the set of tools (for UNLization, NLization and normalization) and applications that can be generated thereafter.
Rules
The rules of the UNL System are defined as a set of standards used to normalize the development of natural language resources in the UNL R&D network. Although highly recommendable, they are not compulsory, as they concern subsidiary aspects of UNL. In any case, they must be followed by those interested in using UNDLF tools.
