UNL Dictionary

The UNL Dictionary, or UW Dictionary, is the inventory of Universal Words. It is a flat list of UWs in alphabetical order without any further organization or structure, which is expected to be provided by the other UNL lexical databases (the UNL Ontology, UNL Knowledge Base and the UNL Example Base, namely).

For the time being, there are two different UNL dictionaries:

• The UNL Core Dictionary

A list of UWs extracted from the English WordNet3.0 that has been used in the UNL^arium and all UNL^web-based applications.

• The UNL Centre's Official Dictionary

A list of UWs provided by the UNL Centre (here presented as a part of the UNL Knowledge Base)
